About two years ago whilst my som was racing in TKM i designed a wet box / cover to suit the new style noise/induction box as i did not like to use a number plate.I made a couple of prototypes to try my idea and in fact gave away a couple for others to try!This gave me good feedback i then made a mark two version which allowed the driver to get his hand inside to choke the carb if needed.
Unfortunately i then found out that at the time this type of wet box/cover would not be allowed in the regs as they stood,so i left the idea alone!on reading a recent edition of Karting mag i noticied that the rules would be changed to allow my wet box/coverdesign to be used in 2011. I immediately contacted Tal-Ko and we both worked on improving my design which we now manufacture on their behalf,we are totally independant of both Tal-Ko and Iztech.
