youl be there or there abouts with those lap times. mid 37's is the ultimate pace for jnr tkm in dry sunny weather....if you can be within a second of that you will be doing well....aim to get into the 38s and build on it..in my rookie year i was a second off the pace lap time wise....sounds a lot but by the end of the race its only a 1/4 lap behind guys who have been doing it for years....most important thing is to be consistant and keep it on the track, then once confidence has built, start to push it bit by bit. i used to do it 1 corner at a time in testing, each session choose a different corner to concentrate on, push it to the limits, then next session go for the next corner, by the end of a couple of days testing you will have learnt a lot...then its all down to experience and race craft....theres no substitute for racing experience
