hi guys, posting this for a friend...he asked the question on 'another' karting forum, but i know a lot more tkm guys are on here

Hi Guys,

Was wondering if anyone on this forum has any ideas on why my sons Junior TKM BT82 TAG enigne is not starting.

At the beginning of the day the engine fires up and my son can use it for aprox 45mins including the occasional pit stop. Then suddely it will refuse to restart. When he presses the green button the bendix only occasionally engages and then it is only for a second or two and does not start.

We have checked the operation of the bendix and WD40'd and all looks ok there. There is fuel and a spark getting into engine. Battery is brand new and fully charged. Carb is brand new and jet settings are set to the Tal-Ko recommended settings.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
