logburner: The fact is, if you want both TaG and �properly� powerful, you�re in the wrong sub-forum.
And if � I know some will find this expectation outrageous � you want your purchase to last for a while before it needs work, you really are in the wrong place.
The glaring reality is there is one engine that stands head and shoulders above all the rest in virtually every respect except upfront cost.
Of course there�s only one way to find out for yourself. Some, including members of the Karting Politburo (KPB � commandment: �Thou shalt not drive or race what our comrades don�t produce and/or sell�), won't do that, presumably because they don't want to come face to face with that truth. However, as you are not a Party member and seemingly don't intend to become one, you are less likely to have such problems. So, given also that you are an experienced driver and mature, you might wish to do either as �doctor 46� suggests, or drop me a PM on the other side and we'll see what can be arranged.
One final point: I have yet to witness anyone trying one out and subsequently not agreeing wholeheartedly with pretty much everything I've said above.
