Thank you for your input on this subject I feel sorry for you all but I am glad we were not the only ones to have problems. 102 octane has been quoted I was given a figure of 108 which ever one is correct it boils down to the fact that the fuel is wrong, regs state controled fuel as blue book min 95 max 100. Fuel suppliers sort this out before the next meeting or FKS allow us to use standard pump fuel, if we over heat Comer engines at the next meeting & can prove there is a problem with the fuel I think we should be intitled to claim all expences incured from SHELL in fact as samples of the fuel from the weekend have been taken for test if they prove to be as we all believe to be incorrect then lets put our heads together and make a case for compensation (product not fit for use)
