I think Forest Edge deserves congratulations.
I've been going there for most of its life, and the improvements are great and they still manage to be one of the cheaper circuits around. And, while doing so limits my practice, I think the non-licence test sessions are a good idea, especially for a track which cannot be open at any other time.
At other circuits, the viewing platforms are barely used, at FE it is always full, for an 'airfield type' site (yes, I know its an old army camp) the toilets are good, the club house is better than many and having electricity instead of generators over half the pits is incredibly sociable. And air available at the dummy grid for that last minute panic.
Of course there are problems, the mice eat the computers and going deep into the greenery can be quite exciting as it hasn't got the billiard table smoothness of some circuits.
And on Sunday, with the dummy grid at 20 degrees plus, I had to think that the committee deserve a pat on the back, they are doing something right.
