I do understand.
First, the ability to argue but remain friends turns out to be far too difficult for some, smaller minded people. Usually, it's those who have NOT grown up in a family who have such lively discussions at home around the dining table without getting upset. It's a practiced skill that develops well in balanced families!
Secondly, the 'bigger picture' is that many of us are keen that the site remains open, busy and LIVELY. That sometimes means we have to 'push bultons' as that is what gets a reaction... leading to more 'postings'. Americans call this 'shock jock(ey)' tactics! It means we take LOTS of abuse but..... many of us are thick-skinned ..... or just plain thick!
Traxtar/James may seem strange but he has good intentions at heart..... as do I.... in both respects!
