Relating to dates, all things need an end of life, however in karting it seems no one pays attention until just as implementation starts, helmets? Unico bodywork was extended due to ABKC lobbying its only that the majority of people have no interest as lng as they can turn up, race, go home and put nothing back into the sport?
And thats fair enough.

Suits, costs, if your suit was made since 1998 it is still legal to race, the times I have seen people selling at they are out of date is unbelievable! There are 2 books, gold and blue which create standards across the country and with that comes control but not many people I guess have ever opened them?

There is another thread where a 20 year asks can he race his junior engine! Has he/she opened the blue/gold book/looked online? All this infomation is available and not hard to find with a little bit of google, it just seems at times that the will to look is lacking?
