And to answer you other questions.....

At least 1/2 second around Teesside, possibly more with the later 11 & 12 barrels which I'm informed are better again.

I found that the CNC barrels had much better bottom end - with my 09, you could be pretty heavy on the throttle out of a slow corner and it would pick up straight away but it's top end was rubbish. My current 04 engine needs a written invitiation from the Queen before it wants to accelerate from a slow corner but mid and top end are strong and progressive. My original 05 engine had an acceptable bottom end if you were very carefull with the throttle but a fantastic top end.

The carbs have a surprising difference too. you can feel the difference between a good and a bad carb (with exactly the same set up).
