"I'm struggling to work out why you'd want a full Championship that is national, has at least 6 rounds, and has the quickest drivers in it. We already have that. It's called Super 1. The Club Championship provides something different, slightly lower key, and quite a bit less expensive. Whilst it would be nice to see some S1 drivers at some of the rounds, I don't see that their presence would be essential for a good day's racing."
I'm struggling to see why you don't run the Championship inside the NKRA envelope.
It is regionally based, so drivers only have to travel relatively locally, it runs at a discount, currently 75 for a meeting including Saturday practice, it has a single 'National meeting' where drivers from all regions can meet and it isn't very attractive to the Super 1 drivers as it is aimed at 'clubmen'.
And it has the relevant MSA Championship licences and history, having been around for 20 years.
Additionally, no-one makes any money out of the NKRA, all the officers and organisers are volunteers, so it's about as cheap as one can get.
Events take place within the normal Club meetings and one of its fundamental ideas is that clubs got got rounds by contributing some drivers to the Championships and got the extra drivers when an event was held at the Club.
Which is more or less what you seem to want to do. It just seems odd to re-invent the wheel to do it?
