I do not believe you are right, i KNOW you are right, this is EXACTLY what i am looking for!! there just isn't anyone who does the tracks we do! my point is, to make the engine take off, it needs to be more reliable and more novice 2 stroker friendly as for setting the kart up, is this not what f1 do? they run very light and very fast in practice to find maximum performance,if you THINK you have a slight oversteer/understeer or whatever chassis issue then pushing the chassis harder will show it up in a bigger light, ie we found our chassis understeers first when pushed to the absolute limits, so having then corrected that issue at extremes the chassis then handles like a dream in standard trim, i might be doing that all wrong but it certainly worked for us! i am talking about the restrictor being 1.5mm oversize not the carb, so is only half to a second or so quicker, though we have seen one with a super cadet flange and that was 3+ seconds a lap faster, which is still less than the difference between a front runner and a novice#!and we have spoken to the msa about it and they said we can do anything we like on Saturday practice !
