our boy in part 4 , starts 32nd and finishes 13th.
didnt appear onscreen except for a microsecond in a flash, didnt get a mantion nada, nowt.
Making 19 places in a final was the 2nd highest number of overtakes in any of the finals. Not even a word.
Was gutted we had to start from 32nd due to a DNF in the prefinal {first corner stupidity by guys in front leaving us nowhere to run off in avoidance} and a certain guy who did rather well punting our boy off in practice meaning we had to work like mad to get the kart repaired for timed qualy only to slightly miscalculate the ammount of fuel needed - we were just under 400gramms underweight and were penalised to start at the back for each heat, Harsh harsh harsh considering we havent raced here before and had no real idea of fuel consumption. The guy who punted our boy off was unpenalised....
All in all we were left somewhat underwhelmed by the whole event, the way we were treated and not even a microsecond of TV footage to console ourselves with.
Gagging to go back in 2014, not likely.
I expect many reading this will have lots to say but,,,cameras dont lie, the prefinal dnf was due to stupidity at first corner by guys in front and as for the punt off in practice , well...i hate to say it but it seems like if your face fits then you can get away with anything.
