Agree with jase, the iame at the moment is the budget option, �846+ vat (even though over priced ) is still the best option, we have 2 now, base price, bit of time ,bang on the times, some engine builders are still ripping people off with the fisching but that will stop once people know!
the problem with the starter motor is weight, it rules out most 12 ,13 year olds and quite a few 11 yr olds , in Europe they run between 110kg and 115 kg minimum weight so unless the restrictor is changed or the weight of comer and Honda is raised which would then again be unfair the starter is a no go,
Honda prices will change soon, due to new regs aimed at equalising their performance as at the moment the Honda class is NOT fulfilling its position as the budget class .
Sam, if you are still struggling come race day this week, you can borrow one of our carbs, one condition though, it is not to be adjusted !
