Wow. Are you serious?
Ask yourself how much would a brand new TKM motor cost you to buy and have fiched? Then ask yourself would it be as good? The answer is, you'd be paying more for a motor that will never be as good. What's more. Even if you purchased a brand new motor 15 years ago and had it fiched, it would STILL be more expensive than these are even with the inflated prices of the motors over that time.
I've been involved with TKM for well over a decade - finding a top motor is difficult the teams and top independent drivers usually hang on to them. These are proven motors. Even if Will did use other motors in his dominant year (which I doubt he did), I'm sure all of these played an instrumental part in his success.
Ask yourself this, even if he used these for Friday practice and strapped something different on for Saturday / Sunday, he's been quick in every session all year.
They're all from the right era to be quick engines and seem like they've been carefully collected over a long period of time from other established drivers. Why doubt their capability?
Do you know what is really bad for our sport and class? Inaccurate / unsubstantiated criticism.
I'm sure these motors will be snapped up within the next week or so and will make their way into other front-running driver's hands. Why? Because they will probably be amongst the best motors out there, are reasonably priced and certainly won't be bad / waste of money.
