Gents is not very often I use UK karting messaging, but I was told to look on here as it makes reference to myself and my son Scott Rixon. Just to confirm, I was the class co-coordinator in 2010 and Scott did win the Northern Championship in 2011. It was common knowledge that Scott did not get his trophy as we could not attend the finals to collect it as I could not afford to at that time, And no we did not race in Junior Blue or any other class the rest of that year. However this is all water under the bridge. Personally I love the class and still go to watch the grid of about 8 Juniors at Hooton Park. It would be nice to see both the Junior and Seniors grids grow. Yes there are some daft rules and things, and I am sure the guys on here who are contributing to this thread are doing so because they are passionate about the class and getting it right so it does grow again. I think if all you guys and the NKRA could channel your energies into promoting it again that your way forward. Good luck.
