And that's the point..... The concept of lads doing well who only have low budgets is INSTANTLY contradicted by your statement 'it's expensive'.

I suggest that the sums that YOU thought/think are reasonable are (probably) NOT thought reasonable by many of us.

My point is NOT that you are WRONG, just that your values are different from 'ours'.

It would be fun to find out what was spent by a REASONABLE father whose offspring became successful in karting and went on to an 'earning' career in other formulae.

I suspect the real numbers will SHOCK and STAGGER even those who managed to 'succeed' if they saw the total expenditure in one block!
