Good to know the news about the TKM Northern Club Championship is out - was keeping my lip buttoned until the announcement was official.

Huge thanks are due to the competitors and clubs that showed so much interest and support, and to Grahame Butterworth and Alan Turney for being so receptive to the idea of a second "inter-club" championship.

I know a few people are bit down on the idea of MSA racing, but whilst getting this off the ground it became pretty clear that there isn't any realistic way of organising a regional championship without a national association to sanction and support it. The MSA provides the infrastructure that lets things like this happen.

Drivers from 3 of the 4 clubs involved in the Championship have already told me they intend to register, both Juniors and Seniors. I'm really excited about next year's racing - not expecting to be at the front anymore, but I'm much more interested in racing than I am in winning. Registration will be via Tal-Ko in due course.
