The new Academy series is a fantastic opportunity for Lads and Dads team to get into the top National UK series.

For those doing the main Rotax series for the first time why take the risk of being in the repercharge final and going home without a race when you can guarantee yourself two A finals every round in the Academy series.

The engine hire component of the championship works out at around �100 per day and for what you are getting that is in my view very fair. The technical support offered will keep you right on what jet to run so you don't ahve to worry about that.

You will be in a championship where it's all about driver and setup, not who has got the best engine.

Any rumours that it is being cancelled (as off 10.3.14) are simply untrue and I would really encourage more to think about it.

We are making every effort to have the format changed to have full points status at every round and who knows, the winner might even get a place at the World Finals.

Come on let's not lose this fantastic new championship and make it happen.
