The problem with any technical solution is simply relaibility.
If F1 cannot make a fuel flow meter reliable then , for sure,it will be a legitimate excuse that brake and acceleration sensors "weren't working". Or , as itpro will no doubt suggest, the sensors will be adjusted so that they operate in the slack space before the pads move forward, making it look as if one was braking but it just wasn't effective.
The problem is simply that winning at any cost has become acceptable. It isn't just in karting, go to any junior league football match and you will hear parents suggesting wild acts of thuggery.
Again, one can place some of the fault on clubs. Most meetings are national B licences, the only drivers permitted are club members and a few selected clubs, or associations taking part at that event, all specified in SRs. It's partly why your club appears in the programme, to show everyone is 'legit'. Club drivers who are regularly involved in loading incidents can have their membership rescinded. It should be the club's responsibility to warn parents / drivers that their behaviour is not acceptable.
However, one recognises that it would be difficult for clubs struggling to survive to get rid of some of their members ( or the fees of visitors), especially given that some people wield more influence than others. However, this is the source of 'better' driving in IKR, the fact that the track operator can stop a driver driving on that track, a decision that is final.
Responsibility is shared, we cannot point the finger at any one element in isolation and particularly not technological solutions.
