My lad was also in Hondas this weekend and like the previous reply it was our first time in super one. What was just said is exactly what i was thinking.
I actually started to look forward to the next heat or final, instead of having the worry of the start and charge into the first corner.
All day we raced! we didnt have to repair, complain, point fingers etc, we went racing and did it and returned home with a straight kart..
I think what John and the superone organisers was a bold step, but right..
Ok not everyone agrees but you only have to look at the amount of threads on here relating to starts and loading and then the costs involved with repairs, and then at the amount of karters saying they are leaving karting because of this to know its the right move.

There is no way to properly police a rolling start so let this be the future.
