But people don't realise that it isn't just the bit of axle from the hub to the bearing that moves, that movement passes through where the bearing is and bends the axle on the the other side too.
As Simon says, document your changes for your particular chassis but if you change chassis, don't expect the same changes to work.
You will find that some people will say that different axles, torsion bars, seat stays, rims and side pod bars, make no difference.
Some people will say the changes make a huge difference.
