Looking at the blurb pertaining to the Max Evo upgrades, it states that the new carb will take away the skill, oh sorry, need for setting it up for jetting etc.
Where does that leave the people who at the moment gain an income from things like setting up carbs and jetting programs?
Also, if the engine is more reliable in the conrod department etc, that will be a significant drop in their rebuilding income.
You've allowed Rotax to keep a stranglehold all these years and they've just drawn the riata dead tight.
If it's called the EVO, then it's a new engine and surely it can't come in before 2017 and anyone fitting the "upgrades" to their present engines will end up with an engine that isn't yet allowed under MSA regs.
What's the betting certain establishments cack their knickers and end up allowing a 1.5 hp engine to be the "same" under the regs.
