Also well done for killing sales of new engines from now to 2016. who in their right mind is going to buy a new engine with all this uncertainly, and / or wait until there will be a load going cheap because no one wants the old one. How can an upgraded engine with more power run with the old engine - madness. Maybe run a weight disadvantage as per the old WTP B1 to B5, B1's could run 10KG lighter. This still didn't really bring them even to B5 (if all the engine rules were followed). What a mess. At least there will be loads of old but decent Rotax senior engines for the IKR market. The odd person that would turn up a IKR with an EVO would be handicapped sensibly as the old engines would outweigh the new for very much longer than in MSA racing and IKR are more responsive locally to drivers will than national MSA. So in short good for IKR, bad for MSA. PS according to the ABKC statement there is no intention to change the carb?
