Iv been trying..... Iv learnt more this year than i have in 10 years doing rotax max. simply by doing F100 (where tuning is allowed) and Iame X30 where the engines are unsealed.
we are slowly getting out of this mess but there is fierce opposition mainly from Parents who don't understand what they are talking about and people within the industry that are clinging on to Rotax Max purely for a financial basis.
You only have to look at what happened in TKM to realise we are punishing skilled people and driving them away from the sport based on some WARPED expectation of "Fair".
If people want to know who can steer and push pedals best Race on a simulator. Its really going to be the FAIREST way to achieve this.
I have spoken to the MSA about it and they would like a return to multi make more open tuning regulations of the past (FA/ICA etc), they await to see the next KF motors from the CIK first though.
Sadly i don't think a simple 125cc motor is on the cards. Theres talk of ECU's, power valves, and odd rev limits.
