You need to be aware there appear to be some significant changes to the specification of Rotax Max engines that (seem as though) they will come into force in 2016. If the general discussion is correct about the changes, the new 2016 engines will be significantly different, probably faster, than this year's (or any previous year's) motors.

I am well known as not liking the Rotax but, even some fanatics of the thing are saying..... 'oooh errrr.... wait and see before you buy a new Rotax in 2015'.

I am not saying 'don't buy' but, if you want to use it for some of this year and hope to use it next year .... well, this could be the worst possible year to buy a new Rotax.
