The mini and junior grids used to be massive, then X30 appeared to challenge the stranglehold of Rotax and somewhat diluted the pool.
Notwithstanding, it was a good thing and gave a choice to drivers.
The thing that's missing in all this and has always been missing, is a driver's representation, which is why there is an outcry when some unelected organisation wants to change things without consultation.
In situations where a body installs itself in a position of power without election, it is called a dictatorship.
I doubt people would be happy if our government or councils installed themselves without duly being elected by the people and then refused to listen.
There are a fair number of 'karting brethren' who would be willing to be on the board of 'The Voice of Karting' and being duly elected, could deliver representation to a governing body.
This time however, it must not be allowed to have the rug pulled as soon as something is said that they don't agree with or falsely accuse the representative of something that someone else had done, without evidence.
Then to elect a toothless puppet without strings to be manipulated in any manner they choose.
Who elected this karting committee in the link?
