I wouldn't buy it. If you bought it for �850 then the cost of converting it to extreme would be about �350, that's a total spend of �1,200. There are plenty of karts available at this time of year (end of season) on this website and you will be able pick up some great deals with �1,200 to spend. For �1,200 you can expect to be able to buy a full retirement sale including trolly, tools, wets, slicks, carbs and possibly an alfano and an awning chucked in aswell and the chassis would be reasonably good if not excellent for a novice.

The kart on ebay might be a very good kart, it might not be, I honestly don't know as I haven't even bothered to look but it's not the ideal kart package for you if you intend to race in TKM extreme.
