I think it is unlikely you will find any drawings for a "racing kart", plenty for funkarts,but not racing....the best way is to use a chassis that you like as a guide for you measurements,this will give you the measurements for camber/castor,wheel base,front/rear track etc etc...you can then put your own ideas into the design,if you wish...If you are just making a one off my advice would be not to stray to far from the norm,mainly for the reasons of cost,...if you walk down any kart grid the "basic" kart design is very similar, no matter what manufacturer....this is not just a coincedence, these companies have invested huge sums of money, and experpireance, and all use a similar design , because they know it works.
I can tell you from personal expiereance,that to make your own chassis and win on it is a great feeling...it is not that difficult to make a winning chassis for the Rotax class,because there is no homologation on the chassis...but as I said before don't stray to far from the norm.
