just wondering if anybody can identify the following problem and how to recitfy this, we have now had what appears to be the same problem on two power pack using two different engines.

on the first power pack the engine died mid-session but the starter motor seemed permanently engaged, when we have checked everything it seems the problem is either in the power pack or leads coming from them as power is continually coming through even when no button is pressed.

on the second power pack everything worked fine for about 7 sessions throughout a day and then for the 8th session the motor wouldnt start, it isnt turning over an appears completely dead. again when checked it appears to constantly putting power through as shows as 11.73 volts when no button is pressed and then 12.44 when the button is pressed. however the difference is that the starter isnt constantly engaged.

just seems to be a strange problem that has only just occured but has happened twice in two weeks!

any ideas?
