There is nothing wrong with racing on a budget. Don't feel that i can afford new tyres all the time plus all the other stuff cause i dont't. The last thing i want is to put people off because they are short on money. However the thing is they were tested and have been proven to be quicker. The fact is TKM 4 stokes cope and don't complain about having about tyre wear on the reds. What i find amusing is you voice your opinion stongly against reds when it doesnt affect you much. Fair enough if they did wear out after a day ,which they dont, and you were competing at the top end and needed new tyres to compete which you couldn't afford then you have an argument. Also you don't need access to teams or whatever you mean to compete at top level. Its not really snobbish because people who have been in this sport a long time know what might be best and the class is dying and its the only class really that uses a high profile hard compound tyre and a red slick seems a no brainer. This talk of having to buy red slicks every meeting has got to stop. I'm a part time marshall
