Hi Guys,Thanks for the posts.
This isn't funny anymore, another session in the garage with nothing to show for it.
Ok process of elimination. Fuel is reaching the carb (bubble just about moves under its own steam when engine spun) Hand over carb fuel pees out of front of carb. Plug out engine spun - lots of big smooth blue sparks. Plug in, engine spun, plug out - mildly moist not ringing wet. Fuel pour directly in barrel engine spun - nothing, not even a backfire. Pulse holes checked and gaskets alined. (What exactly does the reed block do - i assume feed air/fuel mix to the piston crown on the compression stroke)The petals seem fine ie no crack or visable light. Ref the compression (i don't have a compression tester) but with thumb over plug hole - engine spun its sucks and blows quite strongly. I have notice blow by all the way around the piston just below the ring. But I don't think this has anything to do current problem.
Ian - I haven,t got to the bottom of battery frying issues but I reckon the two will end up being related some how.
I really don,t know what to try next because its not making any logical sence. Any ideas gladly welcome.
Cheers Guys
