ross the budget for rotax will be extremaly high compared to that of your prokart.
for a decent package with some spare stubs,hubs sprockets chains your looking at �1500-2000 for an gd con 06/07 chassis and the engine would need to have a 2009 barrel to be anything like on speed.
to keep it running you need to maintain it like change exhaust wadding every 10 hours and the powervalve belows and maybe a rebuild per a seoson aswell and tires your looking.
3/4 sets of tires �450 the kart package �1500-2000 chains and sprockets �120 for 4/5 chains and a new sprocket every 2/3 meetings also you need the clutch removal tools �50 an engine rebuild in a seison �450 any broken parts like axles, steering, bearings and if anything goes wrong with the engine thats another rebuild �100-�150
trust me junior max is fast and competitive only 2/3 tenths of senior. you have alot to learn in prokart like becoming more consistent and learning general settup before any move to rotax once you expeerience how fast one is i am sure you will agree also you ave to maintain them to a high standard and set the jetting every meeting and the kart up otherwise it will bog down. and it will become unreliable if not maintained
