I race junior rotax, then senior easykart, for one season then came back to senior rotax for a number of reasons, like already has been mentioned, the limited racing, and we found we can run local club championships on a smaller budget, due to the expensive parts and the long journies, hotels, fuel etc. the handling of the easykart is very different, the engine is nice, but the chassis itself, we had alot of problems with setting up, and the brakes were AWEFUL, although they may have introduced a new caliper as was being discussed when i left the series. Also your racing the same people everytime, the occasional new comer who soon becomes a regular, but not the same as going to a new circuit and being an outsider and mixing it with the locals
