Sorry for this post but ive inherited an old 2 stroke kart to fix for a mate. I used to race world formula so not sure on 2 stroke engines. All the chassis stuff iv done but im pretty sure the engine is a Jica or ICA? Managed to get it running, will run for about 300 yards then cuts out. Sounds like its bogging down. Was wondering on a rough petrol, 2 stroke mix to run? Should it have an inline fuel filter? Its running a cone like air filter, obviously not the correct one but i take it it will run like this? And theres 2 screws on the carb, one like a wing nut and the other just a screw, not sure which one does what or rough settings to run these at? Its just to get it running to see how it goes with the idea of selling it on. Just not sure why it wont run. Cheers for any help
