I think the thing here is people have a different perception of what counts as Non-MSA racing. For Matt Scott I guess technically if you shoved two karts on a farmers field and raced them you could call it Non-MSA racing....but also you have places like Red Lodge or the Rye House/Ellough Park Non-MSA races which have barely any difference whatsoever to MSA. They have MSA scruiteers and run to the same regs. I think I've had my engine stripped more times at Non-MSA meetings than at MSA!
Personally, the latter types of non-MSA racing I think are much better than MSA, the MSA licensing of tracks I'd probably agree with - but I feel essentially the MSA do not give the licence payer value for money (when you consider the difference in racing is near nothing between them and Non-MSA). And also their customer relations are terrible!
