We were asked to hand in our camera after an incident involving us, and two other karts. They also had their cameras taken. The problem I saw was that it actually takes quite some time to download the files and then review them. I tried this at home and it took me 10mins to download one file from the camera. I was told that it was clear that one of the other karts had hit us, but at the clerks office we were told they didn't want any of us (I didn't chase this as it didn't affect our result). I think the cameras are a good thing, but it looks like it is fairly labour intensive to use them in evidence unless someone persues an issue through protest or it is a high profile incedent. They probably need more laptops and more reviewers to change the drivers habits.
