cheers for replys guys, ive got my eyes on a few jkh 09 chassis at the moment that look clean etc but ones got a junior engine that i was thinking i could get extremed than i now its a fresh rebuilt motor and maybe get myself anouther extreme engine to get used to,my idea is to go to hooton on practice days and get a feel for driving karts again and play with the one i buy. is it true i dont need an arks licence to race or practice at hooton as opposed to 3s. do i need a full msa approved kart suit and helmet to practice there too? im just trying to enter the sport without having to buy everything at once as to be honest i was only hoping to spend a grand just to get onto the track and enjoy myself then maybe after a season invest in better chassis, parts etc?
