Ive been trying to change class recently, but havent had much luck - due to work commitments and other things seem to have got in the way. But hopefully, Im going to try and get a 'new' (12 month old) kart this year. Im looking to do maybe 4 Club Races a year (Three Sisters / PFi), but don't know whether I should be looking at KF2 or Rotax.
Are the KF grids picking up now at club level? Are the running costs comparable to Rotax? Are all the engines reasonably close in both classes? (After a tuner has worked their magic).
I can rebuild my own engines, and don't mind doing so, I wouldnt do a bad job I dont think, but obviously dont have a dyno and other bits of kit that tuners have.
Any advice on what you think I should do would be greatly appreciated.
