Hi and thanks for the advice.
My concern is with the stripping of the carb. Its a delicate bit of kit and its going to take time.
I work in London during the week and travel a lot, meaning that i'm often up to my neck in jobs around the house when I get home. (Tinker time is non-existant)
If its just a case of taking the top screws off and flushing it that way i can do that. If its means getting into the really sensative stuff underneath then i'm in trouble.
What if at the end of a session I turned the engine over on pure petrol, would that work? i.e. connect separate hose to the fuel inlet from a pure petrol feed and then turn the engine over with the drill to pull the pure fuel/ remnant oil through.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
