ItproI cannot explain the physics of why mag wheels are better than ali, in hot weather, to be honest I,m not interested in that.....what I am interested in is how to make a chassis go faster....I am a fanatical tester, we test test test and more test ..Because you do not understand how certain changes work on a chassis does not mean that they do not.
Reading your posts, It seems you do not have a lot of experiance with modern chassis, tyres, rims, axles etc......you seen the imply that modern chassis manufacturers only race mag wheels etc, to enhance there sales...complete nonsense....I agree that you do not need the latest sticker kit, suit, or crash helmet, to go faster.
Also, I am talking about testing/racing at a high level, unless the driver can do several laps all with a tenth or tenth half of each other, and can also give GOOD feedback, it can be difficult to tell if certain changes in setup work.
As an example if a driver was in the S1 in senior Rotax,at PFI, on a hot summers day, and he had the incorrect rims, the wrong axle, and no seat stays, he will NEVER win the race EVER.
