Chassis. At Club level most chassis are pretty even. Tony, TKM and ARC are going well. Adapted CIK chassis also OK, usually with the front bar in.
Motors as stated MUST be with the CNC barrel properly set up by an engine tuner. You then have the same (or better)as everyone else. Buy a new carb.(or 2)
Tyres. Everyone races on the same rubber. It has been explained why the wets need to be quicker. Much to do with cadets coming up into TKM not being best pleased or able to adapt to the lack of grip compared with cadet wets (or rotax) . This is for the benefit of the class to encourage new entrants and from that point of view has to be a good thing.
A well set up TAG is oh so close to the best DD, and the latest ones should be a match. Same applies. Needs to be set up by a professional engine tuner.
