Not on the shortlist, but I'm doing Hooton Park next year, with the odd 3 Sisters if I've got time.
Reasons: OK, the grids get small some of the time, but at least I know the full championship will be run without any cancellations. I don't feel socially inferior because I run my kart out of an estate car rather than a mobile home with an awning. There has always been at least one driver that is quicker than me, so if I win a race I've had to work at it. Finally I feel like I'm part of a club, rather than a customer, and I'm friendly with people that race in things other than Snr TKM, and we help each other out. Means a lot to me.
And yes, club gets slagged occasionally, circuit gets slagged slightly more often, but contrary to the experience of BFD I've worked in all sorts of race series, bikes and cars, and have found the circuit and the club to be a LOT better than most.
So I'll be there for at least 8 weekends next year, but might see you at 3 Sisters...
