As speedy77 said, good 2nd user engines are as good as New ones.

What is critical is looking after them, eg :
1. Changing Oil , if possible every days use. ( GX has NO OIL FILTER, THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP THEM CLEAN AND FRESH IS TO CHANGE THE OIL FOR COOL POWER OIL. )
2. Change the oil again.
3. Test valve leakage, this can be 0%.
4. Change the oil.
5. keep rings in tip top condition, change when you can afford it.
6. change the oil again...
7. Only use RPM racing engines, proven to be the very best people to look after your engines.
8. Change the Oil, what yet again !!!!.
9. To save $$$ buy a leak down tester and do your own valves, but RPM do a better job.
10 and last Ask RPM for 10 bottles of Cool Power oil, this should last a year and I am sure RPM would give discount on 10 bottles.
