You'll still be off pace (probably) until you get used the the peculiarities of the prokart for quite a while.
However, the logic here is to look through the results at the tracks where you want to race. See who is doing well and who is not. Try to take into account the finances of the teams and don't be surprised if the results appears to be biased towards the teams who spend the most.
Pick the kart from the 'winning three' for which you can get spares and repairs the most easily.
Then try to get a 'test' on all three!
The question to racers "which is the best' ALWAYS gets the same answer from a choice of two:-
1) The one I now own 2) The one I will buy when I can afford it
Look at it coldly...... would you expect to get an ACCURATE and IDENTICAL answer to the question: 'which is the best football team' if you were to ask the same question of a Manchester United Fan, an Ars*nal fan and a Liverpool fan? Then ask a Newcastle fan....... and they will STILL tell you that Newcastle United is the best team......... bizarre!
