JCC are you buying new or used?
New - Take your pick, a MkII 7Kart, Wright, MS or BIZ are all much of a muchness.
They all do roughly the same lap time but they all do it in different way. Try and get a test in the ones you're interested in. They all feel different so I'd say go with the one your most comfortable with.
The BIZ is probably the most difficult drive. As you have to learn to turn the kart without using the steering wheel so much, it's all about how you use the brake. The 7 is probably the easiest and also has the big operating range ie. the setup doesn't need to be bang on. The Wright requires a more sensitive approach to get the best out of it and probably has a narrowish operating range. The MS is somewhere between the Wright and 7.
The BIZ and the MS like new tyres, where as the 7 and the Wright work on new and used rubber.
Used - 7kart or the BIZ, the nature of their manufacture means the chassis are repairable and they generally tend to have longer life spans.
Grant not mentioning the 6th place on the MBM in 2003? Or the fact he finished 3rd on a customer 7 Kart in 2002 which was a fantastic result as the competetion level was very high at that time.
