I am with Grant although I have also snapped a few in the process. The only addition to Gran's advice that I would add is that I would also slide an axle through the chassis yolks to make it even stiffer. 2 things with this: 1: the axle should be a neat but slip into the yolks. This gives a good indication of any bends/twists in the chassis & 2: adds additional stifness across the front end so that when you are bending them back it is more likely that the softer stub is bending (which will normallly be the case) rather than the frame).
Not to scare you Aly but I have had a stub failure on the circuit which isn't nice. I was pretty lucky and didn't do too much damage to me but I did have to replace the other stub (so a pair) track rods, column and rose joints. Accordingly, I would replace stubs that needed anything more than a small tweak. Remember the enduro boys used to replace these for every race!
I do have a brand new and in the packet pair of stubs that are committed to one of the other lads. I don't know if he is going to use them this weekend. I can find out if you want and you can have them for this weekend (per 7Kart list price plus P&P). Otherwise I do have a box of used ones which I can bring and you can compare them with what you have and see if they are any better.
