You are spot on Gregor although the way you moved off the start last month i thought you were on 65's!!

Ross, Trev eventually got it right. Use a rev counter and aim to achieve 5,800 max. Remeber the quick lads giving advice are running the optimum race lines and have greater corner and exit speeds that is then carried all the way down the straight. You need to use a gearing that gets the best for you now and it won't be 71. 73 may be closer to the mark. It wasn't that long ago with the standing starts that 72/73 would have been the preferred choice anyway so you are not going to damage your engines.
