Martin,
Good timing to start a discussion on the Honda Challenge, I think any drivers from the tracks who run Snr Hondas ( Llandow, PFI, Warden, Rye ,stretton ,Rowrah , The NEW Track on the IOM, and I am sure other tracks all would like a round at there track, so it MUST be ran at a Min of 4 tracks. to allow some drivers just to taste the competitive of racing with New Drivers and trying out New Tracks.
The Kart Show in November would be a good place to meet drivers and help promote the Honda Challenge.
Some tracks are just to expensive to hire for a stand alone meeting, but I am sure your aware of this, also Warden Law one of the top tracks for Snr Honda is No Longer an MSA Track, this could be a problem, but close by is Teesside karting that is a MSA track.
Keeping it under the MSA / AbKC Banner is better than running it without in, Kelvin Nichols as scrute is great, but controlled engines have been tryed, who pays for them, problems problems problems, just let the rules and Kelvin police engines..
Traveling back in the past was not as expensive to Honda Challenge, meetings, so bank holidays with double headers would keep down some of the traveling costs, also most tracks run meetings for week 1 to 4, the 5th weekend, is free so this could be a good weekend for some meetings.
Llandow racers on the 3rd weekend. Hoddesdon Kart Club ( Rye ) 1st weekend The Isle of Man Kart Racing Association 3rd weekend Warden Law 1st weekend PFI 4th Weekend
well all interesting, I am sure quite a few drivers would be very interested in finding out more and I think you will get quite a few suggestions from this post, also you should have a email address so drivers can contact you direct in idea.
Not forgetting to have the prizes given at brawn F1 , it was a super day out at the old HONDA F1 factory.
Good luck,
Cheers Trev
