Sounds good Martin but I am with Trev on the engine issue - controlled engines don't work and nor does this buy back scheme. Stick to sensible Honda Technical regulations with a good scrutineer and go racing.
Clubman license works as the majority of Prokarters race non-MSA and 30 is not a massive premium to pay to enter a British Championship.
Travel will always be an issue so make it fair on everyone and scatter the circuits round the country.
Tyres - go with the majority but you would want a new set for each meeting anyway so why not leave it open to either the Dunlop or Bridgestone - it will settle itself but either tyre will last for more than one round - why not go with 2 sets for the 8 rounds!
There was already some talk of Prokarts in Super 1 for next year at the tkm/Honda cadet rounds - has this come to anything? This also makes sense keeping the Honda classes together again. There should also be demand for a Junior class but I would think that you will need to consider running this with the same engines and simply a reduced weight limit - yes they will be quicker than seniors but who cares so long as the grid is there, they will still be slower than the existing junior classes and they won't be mixed with seniors.
Won't necessarily race myself (too old - unless there is a vetern's class!!) but know of a good few lads that would be very interested.
Keep talking - how about reviving the festival as a starting point??
