Martin, i think its great too that the efforts are being done to revive Honda Challenge. I never got to do it as it closed just as i was getting into Seniors, I would definately be up for doing the championship, as F6 has all but died.
TRACKS - from what i can see, the majority of sprint race prokarters are based Midlands or above and so it would probably make sense to have the majority of rounds in that area (even though im based in kent!) I think it should be 6 rounds consisting of 6 track, perhaps 4 or 5 in the more northern region (Whilton Mill,Rowrah,Warden Law,Pfi) and then 1 or 2 "away" rounds for most like Rye House and Clay Pigeon or Barton Stacey. this way at least there are a few rounds where Southerners don't need to travel too far, but the majority of the grid up North have it closer by. Not too sure about having a Scotish round though, bit extreme travelling.
CLASSES - I think classes can only be done if there are more than 10-12 in each class, otherwise there's no point. I do think that having a "clubman" class loses the integrity of it, but i can understand that this is a good way of attracting lower budget and experience drivers into the champ! So what ever brings in the punters!
TYRES - Seen as whats left of prokart sprinting, most use Bridgestone, as well as all the endurance racers using Bridgestones, i think that this is what should be used. They also last longer and i feel are more consistent. They cost the same as Dunnies, and seen as the rule might be 1 set per round or 2 rounds, people will have to buy new tyres anyway, so it makes no difference to the Dunnie people to buy a different tyre. Having said that this could work Vice Versa, for R1, people will have to buy a new set of tyres for the race, so it wont matter which tyre you use....but Bridgestones last longer! I also recon If you got a proper stamp, you could do 1 set per 2 rounds, no problem.
ENGINES - I agree with Trev and think that just get good old fasioned top three scruitineered by Kelvin and let that be that.
No Licence sounds OK with me, more people the better.
Anyway thats all what i think, great to see the idea back in flow, and hope it gets lift off!
